Killer Bee Nation! Here is the second episode in our DIY Dumb Ass series! Two hives in one in this vid. These Killer Bees decided to take over the oven in an old camper out in the middle of nowhere. Reed plays with the "bee-death-monster" when noone is around that can get stung, he knows his shit, thats for sure! Normally when there's one single bee in a classroom, people are running and screaming in fear, in Reed's classroom there is 50.000 bees, and they play and have fun with them! :-)

It depends on the brand on foam you use. We use a foam that is very difficult for them to chew through!

Do you know anything about taking care of bees or do you just kill and take?

I started keeping bees in the late '80s. Then the Killers moved in in the '90s and changed everything. There are no more European bees here in AZ. All of the wild honey bees are genetically Africanized. When they started killing people and animals on a regular basis I knew that the honeymoon was over. I do miss my nice European bees. So yes, we kill and take. No one else in the country saves the honey from the bees they kill. The average number of hive removals just in Tucson every year is 10,000. There is a lot of good info on the web about this problem and they are moving north! Best of luck!
