Great when I can make a mini version of it for my lawnmower! No more shoveling!

It works for small snowfalls but we are using it for creating a base on the road. Then we will use the snowblower!!😊❄️

Thanks!! We had one…not as sturdy before but we tried using it in heavy snow…not a good idea. We just need it for a base for the road then we will use the snowblower!❄️😊

Hi 👋 Ya know, it crossed my mind to turn it over but after inspecting it a little closer it looked like it was just a surface split. But, if I have any issues with it, I’ll flip it 👍 Appreciate the comment! 😊

HiJason n Jen, Dang what a grand idea, I’ve never heard of such!! I say hey whatever works, right? Lol Brr,,,looks so cold there. I think it spit a few flakes here yesterday lol 🙄. Sorta looked out of place to be honest, cause it was sun shining on one side and spitting on the other 😂. I hope that’s all we get, I was over winter like last month! Hey you guys stay safe, warm and God Bless ❤

Hi Pam! We just need to get a good flat base for the road and then we will use the snowblower. It is 10° as I’m writing this. Both stoves are going and it’s nice and toasty in the cabin. God bless!❤️🙏❤️

I got the same one that pulls behind my tractor the only difference the front nose you're going to have to guard it with some type of sheet metal the wood will take a beating

I’ve been looking into shielding the nose and underside of the 3x10’s. We’ll see what I can come up with. Thanks for the comment!

Had this idea a couple years ago. Just got around to building it until now. Mine is gonna be 8 feet wide and have angle iron attached bottom to prevent the wood from wearing out. Havent finished yet but wish me luck :)

Never too late 👍 I used angle iron on our first one but had a hard time keeping it attached so I took it off. Hoping to get a few yrs out of this one till I have to replace it.

@@HanbleceyaRanch just finished mine and I love it. Mine is scaled down quite a bit. Made out of 2x10s and only 5'8" wide. I used a really big corner brackets and carriage bolts for the joint instead of lapping the boards and nailing them. Anyway, I had wonderful performance despite its light weight. Definitely see why you added the chain on the back, without it the surface is really slick.

@@flecktards3126 happy to hear you got it built! If it’s too light, consider adding cinder blocks near the nose. Get a 10’ chain and attach it to the ends, it’ll make a world of difference to the surface.
