not so good this pin works too () means hit those manytime you like it wont RESET. it should reset bcoz its not correct NEXT number (2468) 1 (1268) 2 (1248) 4 (1248) 6 (1246) 8 (1246) 8 WORKS only rule is 1->2->4->6->8->8 but not 35790 12468 can push multiple times any order until you get it open it wont reset when push wrong order

PUSH BUTTONS- 10,IN4001 DIODES- 8,CD4017 IC-1 ,100K OHM RESISTOR-2,TIP41C TRANSISTOR,10K OHM RESISTOR, 12V RELAY,LED,1K RESISTOR,12V EM LOCK,9V BATTERY

Why need diode before resistor that is connected to base of transistor?

no idea should not need bcoz its just 1 row of key matrix xD atleast it secure IC pin if push 2 button same time. those diodes not make any diff

Could tell you the password before you even powered it up.

passcode is this (2468) 1 (1268) 2 (1248) 4 (1248) 6 (1246) 8 (1246) 8 () not matter how many times you push if somewhere after powerup you have push 124688 and not 35790 recap: you can push 12468 many times until you find correct sequense order. it means it damn easy open lol. and if you hook 5th pin on IC that blackwire to topleft pin on IC. open sesame(you skipped pin and give 1 to relay). this they do in movies. its that easy. you can just poke with jump wires all pins and open sesame nothing happen if poke wrong pins lol. not even you hock + to - it just reset

oh i see, the password is where you put the diode to the button, and button without diode for reset password(off switch)

no! diodes makes no diff. all pin buttons just go clock pin on IC when you power on (or reset) pin is high on first number. when you push that button 1 is go clock pin so it count up. now that first pin number is 0 and next pin is 1. pushing other pins when its 0 not do anything just next correct that is 1 will step you forward all bad buttons go reset pin on IC hardcoded pin is so this sequence work 100% infact you can push those () many times you like only important is sequence 1-2-4-6-8-8 without push 35790 (2468) 1 (1268) 2 (1248) 4 (1248) 6 (1246) 8 (1246) 8
