3:43 TIP-get a length of scrap plywood(thicker the better) as long as the rail and about 6"-8" higher than the top drill and counter sink 4-5 holes fasten to the rail. Grab another piece of scrap hard wood board about 1/2"x4"x8" cut a 30° across the grain leaving the long side @8", "now the fun part" cut slats about 1/8"-3/16" thick with the spacing between the same as the slat 1/8"-3/16" gaps. You now have a feather board and a higher rail to clamp on to. Place at the end so when you get to the end of the cut the feather board holds down the board and prevents a bad cut. Great vids mann. *Cut the slats before the angle!

For your table saw problem, you can make a simple jig consistent of a sheet of plywood with an angled slot the same width as the saw blade. That way there’s no gap for the piece to drop through. You are honestly my favorite KZfaqr man, keep up this good work!

Careful when you sharpen with a belt sander. You don’t want to heat up the blade too much and soften the steel.

when using linseed oil on wood, make sure to constantly be applying more. it's usually once a day for a week, once a week for a month, once a month for a year and then annually. the finish really starts to develop character.

To the best of my limited knowledge, the guard around the table saw blade has space for blade wobble. There's countless videos on how to make a zero clearance insert, but the two easiest ways for a quick cut would be to use double sided tape to reattach the off cut to add that extra surface area; or take a sheet of play, run it through the saw half way, stop the blade, clamp the plywood, and use it as a table top. Just use cation and make sure the clamps are on tight.
