This artdoll is everything~! The Autumn stag idea is something I've been wanting to make for years! My only addition would be posable ears, ankle tufts that drag in the grass, and mushrooms. Maybe a teeny spider on an antler branch... But this doll was executed perfectly! I would've never thought to add those tiny butterflies! They're adorable! Wonderful as always, Kaypea~

I actually kinda liked the holes in the ears haha. It looks like when you see an animal in the wild that have been in fights so their ears have little nicks and chips and things. So pretty, though! Beautiful doll

Im pretty young and not that experient in this kind of stuff (also live in a small town with a small amount of crafts stores) but i found my ways and bought some materials to try to make one of those, and i gotta say, it looks ugly, but it was so fun to make, ya know? See the things come together and becoming something, even tho you dont know how to do it...try, is so worth (Sorry about my terrible English, im Brazilian)

Adding small vent channels up from the ears (by cutting 'V's into the existing silicone mold) will help to eliminate air bubbles. There will probably be some small sprues to cut off, but you will have a fuller cast.

for an OOAK art doll the way the deer's ears came out of the resin casing gives it so much character would've loved to have seen it kept.....maybe a video to see of improving a design around a flaw to make it a jewel.

Very beautiful! One suggestion would maybe be to get some false eylashes to glue to the face. Deer have beautiful eyelases and it would really help to add even more realism to the face😍

Looks terrific. Rather than re-molding, just carve air vents into the ears. When pouring in the resin, when the resin comes out the ear vents you’ll know there no air in there to make bubbles. HTH.

Fall is my birthday season 🥰

There are a couple things that could help reduce bubbles-- 1) you can make a little vibrating table to shake the bubbles out better (yes, some people straight up use a vibrator lol) or b) get a lil vacuum chamber and either use it on the the resin before pouring (if you have a longer working time) or put the mold in after it is filled, or even c) If it is a slightly bigger mold, using eyedroppers or syringes to get to the harder to reach places. :)

My cat does the same to me...I work in clay...on canvas..so as soon as I start, she must come pester me..play with my tools or lay on the clay and she's black...so black fur on my white clay or orange, or what ever light colors ihave....she acts more like a dog anytime other than when I work! Btw, luv the way u act! Throwing advice out there and saying it's more for u...I find it funny and humorous especially in the times we are in...every one needs a good laugh and I needed one this time! Keep up the good work!

I think all you need to do for your mold is to make some holes to the top of the mold at the highest point of the ears so the air can escape when pouring the resin. You'll have to make sure the hole is big enough, but I think this is simpler than remaking the whole thing. It's worth a shot, too, since you're already considering making a new mold.

this is so cool! i was just watching another resin video, and the guy who was making the mold put a little airway for bubbles to come out of in the mold, maybe you could do it for the ears?
