I pour a small amount of grunge mix into a small sauce pan and place on oven burner and set on low heat so mixture steams and the whole house smells amazing.

Big Lots stores, have some great large jars.

I have my mother's 15 gallon crock and her 25 gallon crock that she made sauerkraut in them and then canned it. After that she would store root vegetables in sand in the old below ground cellar. Obviously I am older than you are!

What could be used in place of instant coffee and cinnamon to create a stoneware texture if you wanted say off white or cream colored stoneware?

#replay..oh I loove that jar!!im off to the thrift store in am and hope I’m lucky enough to find some old jar..I have old bottles but not jars!..my grandma had that same jar..that ole saying which I had known what was right in front of me and had sense to keep those things…I think grudging those labels actually brings out the image deeper..looks so good..omg Tracey..I went on chocolate bunny and went crazy!.years ago,I crunched up paper bags and torn pieces,and did a small wall in a reading room..well where I had a lot of books..nothing fancy like a reading room I think of when someone says that 🤣anyway..grunged /stained over it and it looked like leather..was really pretty..do u print out labels on a ink jet printer on regular paper?i love this!!!

I love this craft but my jar ended up with a speckled appearance. Any idea what I did wrong? Maybe not enough instant coffee and cinnamon sprinkled on after I put on the grunge?
