Dude I literally just watched someone else make pretty much the exact same thing and she had almost 1 mil views on it. You need to get a model to wear your stuff for the reveals and thumbnails and I guarantee you'd get 10 times more views! LOL

Gilbert Moreno - You could check Tapp Plastics for half globes with a variety of sizes. They start to get pricey as they get bigger though. If you prefer metal to plastic and have some tools that’ll polish metal, a trailer hitch from the junkyard would be a bit cheaper.

Thank you so much for this pattern!! I bought the beta version to make my Halloween costume. I went on to purchase the pattern for the original lone you made, it was EXACTLY what I had been looking for in my armor for my character. Imagine my surprise and excitement to see this! I used the pattern with EVA foam and it worked beautifully. I didn’t add all the details of the pattern like I wanted due to time constraints, but it still looked amazing and am so excited to make again for a “finished” set of armor. Beautiful! I appreciate the hard work you put in to creating/making this! ❤️

Thank you for this. Iv been a leather smith for going on 6 years now and I've found the artisans to fall into two groups. Those that happily give you tips and trade secrets to improve your game and those that jealously guard their knowledge. Thank you for being one of the first and I too shall try to bring on those that want help by pointing them in your direction. 😎 You may now have permission to officially feel chuffed.

Your work is mindblowing! That creativity and the time put in each piece is amazing! Please continue putting some videos out for us to learn and practice! Being a bit overweight I am wondering how I could adapt this kind of armor to my size and keep it comfortable. I hope that we get more female breastplate armors and matching accessories! Something gothic / pirate / wizard style armor would be awesome. I'm still a beginner figuring out belts, pouches, and small accessories. I'm looking forward to more videos; they are so instructive!

Might be helpful to figure out ahead of time where you might need to skive, do the skiving, and then do the dye and finish work. Not critical, and it would make planning the build slightly more complicated, but you won't have to worry about touching up the leather after skiving an already dyed and finished piece. This is a great tutorial - the camera angle lets us see a lot and the narration is really helpful. It's probably one of the better leather craft tutorials out there, and I watch a lot of leather craft tutorials. 😁

Should a respirator be used while using the sealant or dye? Also, in another video I watched, the leather was wet with hot water, shaped, and then dipped in paraffin wax. How does wax compare to the sealant you used? The most I've ever worked with leather is adding a hole onto a belt for a better fit 😅 so I'm trying to figure everything out

I am totally new to your channel and I can't believe I never saw your work before. I have done saddles for movies and costumes for theater, fantasy wear and cosplay so I really have mad respect for your leather tooling skills. That sets a craftsperson far apart from a hobbyist when it comes to all the finer details and features in a costume. I stopped doing shows with my models wearing all my stuff when events were cancelled and it got harder to advertise. Do you sell some of the costumes you create or do you just use them yourself for events? I can't wait to see more of your channel and I hope you stay healthy and happy and have great luck in all your future endeavors.
