Jeep Gladiator Service Locker 5 minute fix
Had the light come on in my 2022 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon to service my lockers. and the lockers would not work anymore. this is a fix for the bad sensor that is in the rear housing that causes this issue.

2018 JLU Rubicon - 88k miles…. Stock. Just had this occur, $954 for rear sensor, went from no idea when sensor comes in to its here and we will have it done next day…. Only had to pay deductible…. The rear sensor from MOPAR at the dealer was $590… dealer said they have been getting MOPAR parts from other dealers.

Dang. That’s crazy getting parts from other dealers. At least it’s fixed. But that cost is no good either for a damn sensor. But glad it is fixed and it didn’t take as long as they originally told you

@@Vikingoff-Road but same sensor (not improved), front sensor for that locker will be same $$ if it fails inside warranty. Just keeping on.

Thanks for the follow-up. So basically, this adapter bypasses true confirmation whether the locker is engaged or not. So get the feel of the lockers being on at the wrong time so you know if there is a locker stuck in the on position. Right?

Correct. So this will turn the lights and the locker off. If the locker takes some time to shut off this will not tell you whether or not it is actually off. So understanding that feeling of them on and off is important

I dont get the dash lights..just in the offroad pages it shows both front and rear lockers locked.

Even when they aren’t on? That is interesting. I’m only ever said service locker and I couldn’t turn it on and it would show disconnected, but it will also show that I needed to service them

@Vikingoff-Road yeah they are not engaged. I got the by pass on the rear and it's still the same thing. I'm thinking of putting th by pass on the front to see if that will clear it up. Or I may have to get a second by-pass. I only get flashing when I got to engage the lockers and try to turn them off.

That is so interesting. I’ve never heard this side of it. Yeah I would try putting the bypass up front and see if that helps. If it does you might not need two.
