In this episode I am making a metric version of the SMW Fixture Plate.
The fastening holes are laid out to fit the 50 x 50mm hole pattern of my Table. The DIY Fixture Plate itself has a 30 x 30mm locating and fastening hole layout making it ideal for a wide range of applications.
The thread is M10 and the locating diameter is 12.0mm. I am using a shoulder bolt to fasten the plate to my table.
Overall I am extremely happy how this project turned out, no tools broke off and all the dimensions are spot on.
