Buddy there needs to be some kind of paper or fins to counteract the momentum of the blade it would work alot better bc the cup doesn't have anything to keep it from spinning as well

If you add flaps at the bottom of the copter will fly! You need to create a stabilazer for the cup in order to let the propeller trust up the entire mass, let me know!

The diameter of the disc is important for the lift generation. I think increasing the disc size will do the trick. Also, four instead of two blades would be a better idea.

Both are cool and awesome

Two large fins on cup #1 to counteract torque. Also cut large hole in bottom of cup and put a dowell across rim of cup to attach a longer rubber band for longer flight. Also plastic knives are heavy and very poor for propeller. Split a small dowell and use a playing card cut into propeller shape superglue to split dowell. Now you have a light weight propeller with large surface area. And a long rubber band for many turns and long flight and no loss of energy from counter rotation of cup caused by torque that has been mitigated by the 2 large playing card fins sticking out of the side of the cup. Also this will alow more gluing with super glue making your flier lighter and more efficient. Do it my way and it will fly very high and long. I.E. IT WILL ACTUALLY WORK !
