I love this look! You did a wonderful job. I just ordered the hair and plan on braiding this style for when I go on vacation. Can you get the hair wet ? How do you keep the ends looking fresh?

I hope you love it! Yes, I got my hair completely submerged while on vacation & it held up well. I gently washed it without tangling it, let it air dry, then used the Ayya curl cream to revive the curly ends.

The hair looks nice! You did a beautiful job. How long did the hair style last? Also did you think the hair is heavier than the other types of synthetic hair like biba?

Thank you so much! 😊 So far I’ve worn these braids for 5 weeks. The hair could last longer but my preference is no longer than a month & a half. I’d say the weight is about the same as any other synthetic hair.

Thank you so much! The green jumpsuit I’m wearing is from Maniere Devoir. I did a haul where I’m showing this exact look. You should check it out! It’s the video I uploaded right after this one. & before discovering Ayya hair, I often used Xpressions. Ayya hair is much more silky, precurled & tangles a lot less. Thank you! Knotless braids are essentially tensionless because the braiding hair is fed in. Box braids have knot to start the braid at the scalp.

I think you can do larger box braids with the hair as long as you can manage the silky texture. It was just easier for me to do small braids.

Yes I did get it wet. I lightly washed it, let it air dry & used the Ayya curl cream to revive the curls. It was easy to manage.

I think you can but it’s not necessarily. Dipping it in hot water would probably ruin the curls.

@@ChaviAllie watching this video one year later and besides the $85 express shipping option, the DHL standard shipping option (which still takes upwards of 2 weeks to arrive) is $54 🙃… i feel like I just wasted all my excitement on the site only to be utterly disappointed in the end. 😩
