What I loved about this video is how simple your flips were…I always make things more complicated than they need to be… such a good idea…just stay simple ( I FINALLY got a booth!…been waiting a long time so now I need to get serious about flipping stuff). I have had this inlay for awhile…I love it! But doing an inlay has seemed so intimidating! Ok…now I know I can do…stay simple…start with small pieces! I love all the projects. The tray was such a beautiful transformation. It was heavy and dated and now it's so beautiful. That was amazing to see. The chickens are adorable now. From 1989 to 2024 and ready to be loved again. ❤❤

I loved that sweet paint inlay, it did remind me of vintage wallpaper ❤️. The chickens turned out so sweet, I’ll keep my eye out for something similar in the thrift stores. That little frame was made for that transfer! Very nicely done. I loved all three projects!

I so look forward to seeing your videos! You are such an inspiration. The fowl turned out great! So many of those in thrift shops that could be freshened up and given new life. The tray turned out beautifully. I’m not a fan of paint inlays as I’ve not had good results but you make it look so easy! What a rare and wonderful find in the frame thrift. You make everything look so easy Erin. Funny story. I was using a paint inlay for the first time so i was being very careful. Painting, laying down inlay before it dried, spraying pieces with water then carefully patting it dry. I picked up my spray bottle , sprayed , dabbed and then realised i had sprayed with my Spray and Wipe, major panic , but apparently Spray and wipe works quite well too. 🤣.

Wow that glaze on the tray is stunning. Subtle but such a difference. That inlay looks so versatile too. I can also imagine that being in Nan’s old stash where she’s lined a box with wallpaper to keep her sewing extras. Love it.

I bought a large can of clear wax from home depot and I use it alot with different color paint to do what you did with the chicken and rooster, I love to see what blues,reds,yellows do to revamp items ,if you use burnt orange paint in clear wax on an item let dry and then go over that with regular antiquing wax it looks like aged terracotta..I did that with a large rooster i had for a long time in my Booth and it sold immediately after putting it back in my booth that way ,..thanks for the great video 😊

Wow was curious about paint couture. Thought it was only in Australia. But found out it's here in Canada. Añd as much as I love fusion paint and products. The price is much more budget friendly with paint couture. 😊

Thanks so much. I think it depends on the look I’m going for. Wax is more intense than glaze so if I want more impact I use wax, if I want it more subtle I use Glaze. 😊 Hope that makes sense.
