My son and I are building a homemade drag strip out of cardboard to start our own diecast racing channel and we needed 2 garages and other buildings for the background so this video was perfect for us. @@FunkyGOB I built a dragstrip for my son for h.wheels a long time ago, wide enough for cars along the sides also. Spray can black with white pinstripe tape for the center & sidelines. He used it for a long time. ! Made a little Christmas tree out of something, but can't remember what. He's 35 now. Used a bid sheet of thick cardboard for the track. Used gray & white mixed together for the burnout marks ! My grandson could use it now. He's 12.!

It's nice to see creativity and imagination at work. An excellent example of how much pride one can have in oneself, especially a child, who builds things like this. Instead of receiving something store bought.

A few years ago I made a few playsets for these cars out of shoeboxes, and my last one was modeled after a blast corps level. I made rocks and boulders out of styrofoam and Pepsi bottles-this video may have inspired me to do it again and make a classic car museum. Thanks for sharing your work with us!

This was awesome. I think I can whip up something maybe less detailed just to get started. Or even like a half wall design with just one back wall and one side wall and leave the rest open and exposed for display.

Another inspiration for modelers in mine like HO 📏 scale wow how many vehicles I've collected through out the years! In HOT WHEELS, MATCHBOX even ROAD CHAMPS. That's a model project down the road but my version would be a mixture of plywood & styrene plastics. However yours is good & it works well. Will now keep watching your channel. ✅👍

Another cool build, might try one myself. I have a question, when you take the top layer of cardboard off to make the "corrugated metal".. you apply something.. what is it?
