YES Clariss you can make these without flattening them. Just make sure the wire is thick and strong enough to hold its form. Maybe try 18 or 16 gauge wire. I'm sure whatever you create will be gorgeous! Have a great weekend. ❤️

Absolutely you can hammer the wire. I prefer to flatten with the rolling mill because it's easier on my hand and has a smoother more uniform finish. Some people like the hammered more textured look though! Thanks for watching.

Hello heather where did you get the flattening tool and how much is it? where can i get them at and are they heavy?

Hi Debbie: Mine weighs about 70 pounds but I think you can get smaller ones. They are a lot more affordable now than when I bought mine 25 years ago. You can check out different rolling mills here: www.amazon.com/s?k=rolling+mill&ref=nb_sb_noss_2
