DIY | Giant Ice Cream Cone! | Sprinkle Themed Baby Shower Decor

4 жыл бұрынEarlier this month, we had our Baby Sprinkle where my mom and I created this giant DIY Ice Cream cones that are just so stinkin' cute and fun!
"INGREDIENTS":
1 large party hat
2 Styrofoam rounds
coffee filters
printer paper ~3 sheets
brown craft paper
brown crayon
pen
post its
food or fabric dye (color depending on ice cream flavor)
12" balloon
craft glue
hot glue/glue gun
scissors
xacto knife
bowl
water
gloves

Great idea.. How about skipping a step and ad dye to glue? Seems like it would work and leave out drying time for the scoop part.

Thats a great idea! I think as long as it weren't too think, that would be a great idea! My mom was actually the genius behind this tutorial, so I just followed her lead. :)

I can’t even focus because the table isn’t covered with plastic to keep from damaging it. Maybe it’s a work table, but it’s in great condition. Oh well, lol😂

Hi! I'm so sorry but I don't unfortunately :/ I would use the same technique for the actual cupcake part and then for the cupcake wrapper portion cut out two circles from cardboard for the bottom of the wrapper + the top of the wrapper where the cupcake can sit. Connect them using vertical pieces of cardboard in the middle for support. Then use a strip of thick cardstock for the sides! I hope that helps! Maybe I will create one in the future for a better visual 🤗
