In this video I’ll be showing you how I modified my nail desk into a beautiful holo shrine fit for any glitter addict! Below are all the items I used in this video!:

@@lovebeinnatural I did girl & it turned out soooo pretty 😆!! Just finished a few days ago (painted cabinets bright yellow to compliment). I won't lie, I held my breath while doing this bc unlike a table, counters are one shot, lol! Preparing to put a floor in to pull it all together & do an accent wall. That turned out FANTABULOUS! Would love to do that for my grandchild. You have a great voice and perky humor. Funny about the use of a nail file.....sometimes I use a sanding block as a nail file 😁

This is an awesome bucket of joy! Be lucky you can follow tutorials such as this from Other you tubers i’d of had a glitter all over floor and walls and dog instead of a table!! You did a great job as always!!!! Thanks for your passion in life at everything it’s much needed! Omg I wrote too soon a blow torch!!! Yeah I would burn my house down!! Love it!! Thanks for this!

Get some 200 and 400 grit sand paper. Sand it all over then wipe off with 91% or 99% isopropyl alcohol and pour a clear coat over it with the corner level. Good job.

blowtorch: merenque, baked alaska, creme brulee etc ;-) love the desk and thank you for the tip of adding another layer, you need to do it to realize, i wouldn;t have thought of it either, but now will reserve some resin

Love this! Now I'm going to have to find a desk to do this for my daughter. :) Also, perhaps a light buffing with a very fine grit piece of sandpaper would help with the roughness on the resin. I'm no expert, just a thought I had.

What you need to do is sand it down smooth and then just put another layer of just clear epoxy resin and it will be super smooth and shiny

You can also get a piece of glass cut to measure to put over the top, that way the surface won’t be rough and won’t get damaged with acetone! I have this old wooden table and I think I would need to paint it on with a paint brush lol do you think that would work? Like sparkly wood lol!

Gucci Mademoiselle, I think if you painted a wood table as a prep to using glitter in resin it would be beautiful and the only thing to be sure of is to let the paint dry really well. Resin will pull up paint color if the paint is not completely dry.
