This family friendly home haunt haunted house walkthrough area is packed full of everything you'd expect to find in a spooky Halloween attraction themed area. Ben has created a Halloween cemetery yard display full of fun DIY Halloween tombstones, skeleton props, hand painted backdrops, DIY lighting. He has also created several different themed areas with fun little details to look at. From animatronic skeletons playing instruments, glowing fountains, lighting effects, pumpkins singing, scarecrows, crypts, spooky trees, and headless horseman. I love haunts like these because there is just so much to see and get inspiration from. We really enjoyed seeing everything up close and getting the backstory to all of Ben's haunted creations. We appreciate his time showing us around and look forward to what awesome things he will bring in the future.

I checked this house out in Studio City last year. He was there talking to visitors. It was fun seeing someone so young (and creative) being so excited about his haunt!! Hope he does it again in 2020!!!

The mural is amazing! I love seeing callbacks of how he made props to other haunts and tutorials I’ve seen- I also love a YOUNG and up & coming haunter doing big things!! It’s gonna just keep getting better from here!

There should be a TV show just like the Great Christmas Light Fight but a Halloween version giving the spotlight to Homemade Haunts. What you guys have been doing reminds me of it.

Thanks Cameron! They did have it for one year called the great Halloween Fright Fight and we got to on the show. You should check it out sometime. It didn't do as well in ratings as the Christmas show does so they squashed it but we thought it was fun.

For the strings in the flute and fiddle, try braided fishing line. Extremely small diameter for the weight rating, and it’s dark also.

I have a Ouija Board mouse pad, every time I use my desktop I try to summon Captain Howdy, but sadly, he's not possessed me yet Another fun haunt, I really like the cemetery mural...I'd love to paint my living room wall like that. Thanks again guys, I always appreciate your videos.

Glowing Water Tip: Tonic water glows light blue under UV lighting. I’ve use it in fountains and in drinks for Halloween parties! 😉

Almost 20 years ago I used two light fixtures with actinic bulbs instead of the black light bulbs that were available at the time.

Bluckys are the blow mold skeletons and Buckys are the resin 4th quality skeletons you get from anatomical supply company.

Love the videos as always. This is my type of haunt with the Haunted Mansion as your inspiration. Do you film all these over halloween or do they setup the haunt for you to come see before/after Halloween? I know that may be alot of work, but haunters are nutty passionate about this.

We visited several haunts last Halloween and had planned on posting a video each day during October. Many haunts are not ready until the last week or two and we are just not fast enough youtubers. Even though we struggle to keep up with posting content our hope is that these haunt videos can inspire people to be creative and want to make stuff anytime time of year. Yes some of our haunt friends are crazy enough to set up anytime hahaha!

stardustgirl Halloween is never over. We’ve already started planning for this year’s home haunt. It’s a work in progress throughout the year until it’s time to start setting it up in late September.
