Here are links to some parts used. Cheaper spring compressors or keeper removal tools can be obtained vs what was used.
Valve compound/tools can be bought from any local auto parts store. Compressor tools can be lent or purchased :)

Super helpful tutorial. I always thought people were boring out the head when they were "lapping valves" this makes way more sense. Thanks for taking the time to make this!

May not be ideal but when I did my heads my suction tool kept slipping so I used a drill and grabbed the valve stem on other side and spun valve slowly while moving in and out. Way faster when doing 24 valves 😊

I did the same thing on my old 40v V8 would have been dead by the time I finished with a suction tool 😂

@QuattroWayne I rebuilt a yamaha raptor 250 engine a few months ago and the drill chuck wouldn't fit in head. I then took the tap tool that comes in tap and die kits and pulled the T handle off. Put that in drill as an extension and the valves slid in that tap tool with enough pressure to lap them 😀

I was considering this but I've read some conflicting inputs. Since its my first go, ill probably stick to the suction tool until I'm a bit more comfortable in the process. Its a labor of love so the extra 3 hours isn't too big of a deal😆 As always, I appreciate the tips/input! 4 hours to lap 24 valves is rough hahahaha
