Hi, this recently happened to my phone, but one of the wires/electrical tape pieces snapped, and caused my phone to not turn on. I still hear notifications and whatnot but the screen doesn’t log by up. My parents don’t want to fix it because it supposedly costs around $600. I have the apple 11 pro max. Help please😭🙏

@@FIXDIY hey I went to the repair shop, the guy replaced my LCD and screen because he said my screen was grounding that's why it started to lift up and my phone frequently overheats so he had no choice but to replace it to avoid my phone exploding, thanks for the tips tho ehh and I am typing on my screen which is full of tape because the adhesive glue the repair dude put on still didn't dry

My screen was totally seperated from the phone I got it fixed from a repair shop I fixed it with a duplicate version as orginal was very expensive But one strange thing i noticed that in my earlier setting screen lock time was 10 minutes but with new display it is of 15 seconds Although i changed it back but i am surprised that how did it happen Did it automatically happen as the screen was changed? Repairing the screen flex flat isn't easy because it requires soldering 50 very delicate tracks. And even if successful, it won't last long. You'll find that after a while, everything collapses. You might be surprised when you install the screen that has soldered tracks and find that the screen is broken due to the phone's fall. Also, even soldering the flex isn't a successful job. Don't believe what you see in other people's videos. Also, the price of this screen is simple, and replacing it is better than repairing it with soldering, which is a waste of time and tiring for the eyes. It remains fragile, and at the first phone drop, all the effort put into soldering the flex evaporates. So, the best solution is to replace the screen if its price is low
