[DIY] How to make a RC Hovercraft!

6 жыл бұрынToday I'm going to show how to make a RC hovercraft. It's going to be really small and basic.
What I used:

* One M2 screw with nut (to fix the antenna);

* Adhesive velcro;
* 5mm depron or foam board;
* Thin and colorful plastic bag.
Also things like solder, soldering iron, hot glue and so on.

Absolutely, dude! 😃 Thanks a lot for the comment!!! 😊 BTW, I'm working to convert a toy grade rc car to hobby grade. And... Well, the servo was crazy. I tested lots of things, only replacing the servo solved it. But, unfortunately, I broke a plastic piece while working on it... So, what I'm going to do? Make another one from PVC sheet I made from a 100mm PVC pipe. 😂

Best project you have up. Damn good work. About 8 years ado I started trying something similar but after a little experimenting I got side tracked and never went back to it. Seeing this project brought back memories.

Manick N Thanks a lot, my friend! 😀 It's not 100%, since the remote board I used doesn't give the same current to both motors (so it doesn't go straight too far)... But for the first one it's great! And a lot of fun! 😀

Max Imagination Thanks a lot, bro! 😀 The only problem is that it doesn't go straight too far... Because the board doesn't give the same current to both motors. And that's matter of luck, really. But it's a lot of fun anyway! 😀

FPV FREAKY Dude, I really would love to do that... But it's not easy, I don't usually have all that time to do that. 😔 But anyway, I used the same tips and tricks that the Flight Test guys use in their builds. You know? The rest it's everything in the description: links, the plans and so on. 😊

I like your design. Yes the problem with the power to the "Steering" and "Drive" outputs is a common problem when they have been designed for different motors on some toy grade RC. I do have a project on the list to use the components from one of those wall climbing cars to do another hovercraft. I started it a while back but only got as far as collecting the components. It might even be a bit smaller than yours. I did some projects on hovercraft a few years back trying ordinary batteries and they didn't have the power to weight ratio for good performance.

GrandadIsAnOldMan Yeah, I know your older projects! I watched most of them while I researched for this one. 😀 Anyway, I think that if you use bigger motors, you could use a dc motor to work like a servo (like in toy grade rc cars, really) and make a rudder. But, I don't know, I think it would be better to make it hobby grade already, using a small receiver (I already found one for my Taranis), setting up differential thrust and so on. But... Any project you can make that touches your heart is worth it. 😊

Sabe se as pam 8403 "queimadas" tem conserto? Tenho 3 que não funcionam não sei se estão queimadas.

flauber 74 Rapaz, depende... Precisa descobrir qual o componente que queimou e aí ver se você encontra eles pra comprar separado. Saca? Dependendo do componente pode ser que você encontre fácil, já outros pode ser difícil. 😕
