As always, the most simple is the perfect solution. Sites, etc people use your imagination or go out and MEASURE. This is easy to build wuth much less of a machine park. Thanks for sharing.

I have that same dust collector, and I always make a mess with it too. I usually take the top off and shopvac most out to try to limit the mess, but your way seems just as fast. I LOVE the jointer. What a classic. Nice video, I really enjoyed it.

I have some serious jointer envy here. A 16" jointer with massive infeed and outfeed tables!? So cool! Also love this build series - great work!

-Nice job the guy is a pro and has the equipment but I saw a guy make the benches with hand tools I wish I had half the equipment I would never go in the house

Sir I have never had any interest in tools of any kind, except a fork.. I have been interested in making a bench for my garden. You've made something incredibly complicated, I'm sure, look like something anyone could do! And I think I've got just enough tools to make it work.

Suggestion: sew in a small plastic window into your dust collector in order to see when full. Reducing sweep up time.

I would be easier with that awesome equipment, but not necessary. I would like type of wood and maybe some measurements in the description. Thanks for the video.

I watched both videos and it has no end or seemingly a third part that does show it completed. A shame as looked like a good project and obviously a good carpenter. If I can give some advice you could have edited this into one 20 minute video (with an end) and made it more interesting and would have way more views - look at someone like Paul DiResta for some tips!

If someone can't build this simple bench without all the gear that he has then give it up. I'm sure he does this full time so he needs this equipment but I'm sure he's also could build this without his commercial equipment. Buck up whiners and get busy building instead of whining about this man's tool collection lol.

Curtis G thanks for saying that pal , I try to be political correct around you tube , and are 100 % correct , the was made out of 2x4 bought from Home Depot and other than using the sender to make it ease on my self anyone could do it !

You should change the name of your video to read “equipment to use when making parts to a bench.

I assume this comment will not be popular. Dude I have now watched 2 of your videos trying to see you build a bench. All I have had is 20 minutes of watching you play will all of the fancy machines in your workshop and maybe 2 minutes of actual bench making. I wanted to see you make the bench not play with your toys

Joey Eve I think he’s a bit more than a diy’er. This is a business. But like how well organised this guy is.

Nothing about this project cant be done by the average DIYer with basic tools.

What a joke. How is this DIY with all that industrial equipment?
@sportstertaco4 жыл бұрын
This can be made by any DIYer even without all that equipment. Sure no average DIYer has this stuff but he is using large sanders. Good for him. Just cut the rounded edges off at the table saw and then hit the bench with a belt sander. Or if you a purist then use your hand plane. More than one way to skin that wooden cat.
@piggybakkers4 жыл бұрын
Did i miss something?? You're not going to get people to subscribe if you don't finish the story off and let us see the finished article. Also you need to learn about editing, far too long spent wathing you feeding through sanders and rounding over. Other than that it looked like it might be a nice bench.
