for wax am using soy flake wax
containers are metal tins made for holding candle wax
products and wicks from corresponding size provided in a kit
you can find starter kits on amazon or craft stores very inexpensively
canning jars also work well as theyre made to withstand heat and temps
please dont use containers not designed for high heat such as bowls or cups
as they may be a fire hazard when burning
you can also find appropriate heat safe tins at crafts stores or etsy & amazon as well.
im using a digital thermometer to monitor the temp of the wax for safety.

Ty so much I don’t always feel well, but I want to prepare little spell candles and I Never thought to use remade tea lights! I’m so excited to decorate and play with my daughter during Christmas time. Thanks Again you’ve made my Life so Happy.

Thank you so much for your video, beautiful candles and very informative. Do you have to remove the crystals or are they meant to be left through the whole burning process?

awe!happy holidays and THANK U so much for watching .. u can leave the crystals in &remove when is finished burning, or take them out prior tp burning. so can really remove them when u please :)but i do feel the energy is stronger with the crystals intact while burning the candle at least for the first while.

Hi! Loved the tutorial, thank you😁 One question- If I were to use 1-2 crystal tumble stones as toppers on the candles then do I have to cleanse or energise the crystal before putting it in there?

Hi! Thanks so much angel! It’s up to you but it wouldn’t hurt at all to do so. Also u can just use the stones decoratively without Having to do anything in particular in terms of cleansing if u prefer not to either way is all good ✌🏽☮️

I’m trying to do as much research as possible before I start making my candles. I’m trying to figure out all the herbs, crystals and oil combinations. Right now I’m looking for which to use for a harmony/peace candle for my home.. I have 6 daughters and my house can get pretty chaotic.

Hi! Wow 6 girls.. that definatley calls for some calming vibes.. lol You can use any combination of the herbs listed below for inviting calm, tranquilitypeace and happiness into the home. First off use white wax as the color ,then any combo of, rosemary, thyme, strawflower, citrine crystal, jasmine flower, sandalwood and pine ! Also keep in mind essential oils can be toxic for some kids and pets , so make sure they are never used directly on skin.. only IN the candle itself. Cheers! I hope that brings some calm and tranquility to your lovely family! 🌙⭐️☮️

do the herbs and pinecones spark when the candle is going?

hi :) i try to keep them out of the wick area and off more to the side. also dropping a few drops of the colored wax on them there helps keep them secure from floating around or being dry and from catching the flame. its best to keep the flame path clear tho which is why i try to decorate around the outside moreso.. thanks so much for watching, u enjoy your crafting :)

What type of blend ? Do u mean to mix soy and bees wax? Or different grades of soy blended?

Sure. I’ve heard of people using that blend successfully . .. just do a test burn when ur finished them. ☺️✔️✨🌙✨

Hi Crystal, because Im using soy wax here, which is water soluble , I just wash it in hot water with dishsoap and scrubbie, it cleans up very easily 🙂 if using bees or paraffin wax it can be a bit more difficult for washing up..

ideally, no. but i dont recommend putting too many, and it helps to drops a few wax drops over them to secure and keep them safer. plus dont block the area around the wick. just put to the outside :) happy crafting!!

does fake crystals work as well? or do they need to be real crystals?

Hi, fake crystals would be fine for decorative purpose. But will not impart the same effect for spellbinding . However u can get inexpensive quartz , and smaller crystal chips from craft ,hobby or hippie stores that will work for spells as long as they’re genuine quartz . U can also use other objects for spells such as herbs from your pantry like bay leaf, rose petals, lavender ,clove, basil or rosemary and oregano for example which are quite naturally powerful as well.
