Sweetie something that these masks are wonderful for is anyone that is in the process of having dental surgery. I had my front teeth done and they were unable to complete the process in one day. Needless to say I was very unattractive. I chose to wear a surgical mask. Would have loved to have one of these. Also a lifesaver for anyone with a cold sore or a bad experience during a lip Plumping.👄🤐😷🤣💋💕

This is also a really cute beginner project, and, you can fully use this for a makeup reveal if you did the front painted like a skeleton mouth with rhinestone teeth

I would definitely wear that. I've been thinking of making some reusable, cloth masks myself; in Steampunk style. Experts say if you are healthy you don't need a mask. That masks are more effective at keeping sick folx from spreading germs. It would be an additional barrier and look cool/fabulous.

This is such a fantastic idea and you have no idea how much it means! My mother has health issues and her Dr's don't want her going out unless it's a necessity, yet she has to go to hers Dr's every week for blood work and a shot, and there are always sick people around. With there being literally no masks left for people who need them and she is supposed to have one on, anything is better than nothing at all. Thank you for this, I always have tons of extra fabric and elastic, because I hoard my craft supplies lol please stay safe! ❤️ 💜

Making these for myself and my kids !! We have bad allergies even with medication and are sneezing all over the place ! We are socially distancing I will be making these so as to not freak people out when we sneeze . I totally understand this doesn’t protect myself or others from Covid- 19 . I think any DIY face mask is actually helpful for viruses and pollution/smoke, depending on particle size, if you read up on proper mask hygiene in terms of how you handle the mask, how long to wear it before sanitizing it, etc. CDC recommends face mask wearing in your home if you or someone in your household is sick, or if you may be sick/carrying the virus and must go out to buy food. (Valved masks are not suitable if you have possibly already contracted the virus, but could be worn by those who don’t have it). I’m going to reply with links for more info! I think making DIY masks for average citizens and the public is a good idea, because of the medical supply shortage. And the more you make, the more often you can sanitize them.
