Hey friends, it’s Kevia. In this video I’ll be doing a diy sideboard using the IKEA Kallax cube shelf. These cabinets can be very expensive so I decided to create my own. Don't you just love the versatility you have as a do it yourselfer? Being able to switch out the knobs just because you want them to look more like the units legs is awesome!

Have to say this is by far the classiest IKEA Kallax hack on You Tube . Love the vintage style ceiling tiles you used for the doors and the acrylic legs are beautiful! I've been thinking of doing a Kallax hack but more in a mid century modern style to go with a black matte epoxy and walnut table I had made. Wonderful work!! You should be very proud of yourself!

Very nice you really hooked that up and adding to the front doors I really like it, and the nobs too. Yeah I'm a detailed person too, It's good though shows we have a eye for decor. Girl you're moving right along with decorating your home.

I’m so proud to call you my sis in law. This is absolutely amazing. The leg idea was spot on for me. I need to do the same with my cabinet. Your video just appeared! I am so glad it did! I was shopping for a buffet/ credenza, but, those priced were CRAZY!!! Your video is very informative while very creative! Thank you! Now, I am going to my Ikea, and replace my credenza, n find another dining room table! I am now a subscriber, cause you captive my creativity side, with innovative ideas that signify "Class on a budget!!!" Again, thanks alot!!! You taught me how to spray a mirror, I wanna reuse, too!!! What most ppl don't know is that Amazon is filled with individuals and, unfortunately not all of these individuals do inspection checks and Amazon ITSELF does not have to. Sometimes they think they can just refund but with time it is easy cheaper to do inspection checks from the ppl who actually produce it so before it even arrives in the U.S you can be sure that 90% is not damaged.

Hi Kevia! OMG, it wasn't even 6:30 A when I saw you in YT notifications, But I immediately subscribed. Ghurlfriend, your vlog here is professional, voice calming, videography excellente, And the IKEA hack is Gorgeous!!!! I also LOVE your design style and skillz are on Point! Hubby helping you out was a Whole 'nother vibe, and Love Language 💃. Your dining room is gorgeous...you styled your console hutch fabulously! Oh, here is an idea if you want to add gold to your plant vases: tape off the bottoms maybe three inches, and paint in gold. This will make your plant vases look as if they are dipped in gold paint...just a suggestion and they look great as is. Adding the DT peel 'n stick tiles to the door fronts is ideal, and your Mom's Stella Rose wine bottle diy is so pretty...I need to do that. I diy Errthang 😂. Anyway, sorry for this "thesis", BUT I am loving your channel already and look forward to more of your design vlogs. Blessings 😉

This turned out great! Much less expensive than buying a Buffet or Sideboard. I did this for a dresser for my room. I needed a skinner (not so deep) unit. Dressers took up too much room. I did 6 door inserts & 2 drawer inserts. I also bought the Underframe for this, which adds a lot of support & strength along with attached legs. Might I add a Tip for everyone assembling any IKEA furniture, use wood glue for everything! It makes everything hold together much better. Especially if you have to move. I add wood glue to every peg, cabinet hardware etc. where there’s a hole put wood glue in FIRST! Hope you find this useful. I’ve done this with a dining table, chairs & 3 cabinets that I use as a buffet! Happy assembling! IKEA directions are not the best!❤😢
