Hair Used: Kadi Natural Spring Twist hair (Only need one pack for whole head if you separate the hair like I did in this video--the hair is $11 per pack)
You may want to order two packs if it is your first try to give yourself some room to waste some of the hair, or if your hair is thicker than mine

Thank you so much for this. I have been doing twists for ages and this hair was the closest to my texture. I thought there is no way I need to cut them more than in half. It was super long! 4 pieces from 1 was perfect length and width!

My hair is coarse 4c and dries out alot, and I guess stress and bad diet doesn't make it any better. I wear a fro puff but my hair continuously breaks off at the crown for a year now. I'm hoping this style will give me a chance to grow my hair back and look natural while doing it. Great video 👍🏼

Riyanna Williams thank you! And I basically had slightly larger sections in the front than in the back bc I didnt want them to sit too high off my head. I tended to do them on wet hair bc my hair really cant be manipulated too much while dry. However I did them on my grandma while her hair was dry and it turned out fine, so whichever you are most comfortable with you should do

trendsetters06 i cut them the same, but I tapered some of the ones at the front and top so the lengths wouldnt be drastically different

Sakura Michiko thanks! And I usually only keep styles like this in for a month because thats my limit on how long i want to go without deep conditioning, but theoretically it couldve lasted at least another month since they were not dusty or matted at takedown after one month

Tiffany Hussie I usually take them out after a month to 6 weeks bc i dont like to go long periods without deep conditioning/tending to my hair, so i havent tested the boundaries to how long they last. They last at least a month and a half. And i was able to do an acv rinse with these in

Looks amazing and great tutorial! I'm trying to do twists in my hair, but as a long-term protective style, so a list of questions for you: 1. How soft is the hair compared to Marley hair? 2. How long did the hairstyle last? 3. How many times did you wash it when you had it? 4. Did you refresh/redo any twists during that process? 5. Did you find that your hair locked up at the root with this method? 6. And do you think the root got frizzier faster because you started it with a twist instead of a braid?

Chin926 its softer than marley hair! It lasts about 6 weeks but i always take it out in 4 so i can deep condition at least once a month. I washed (rinsed it, didnt really use shampoo) at the 2 week mark. My hair did not lock at the roots, and the only dustiness I saw at the roots happened when i started seeing more new growth, but since it started as a twist it still looked really natural

Chin926 so I originally got the hair from my local hair store. Then they stopped selling it so i switched to a similar type of hair which was kadi bomb twist hair which is sold more often. I still only needed one pack of that type of hair, but i didnt cut it in half and got the same length

Kinnisten Reachney i usually keep it in for a month or month and a half if im lazy. The hair does really cling to our natural hair, so it slips right out, but if i doesn’t, just spray some water at the root to get the synthetic hair to separate from yours

I didn't even have an afro. But I've seen black ladies wearing this hairstyle and was fascinated, so came to your channel out of curiosity :D Love it! I have curly hair but its nowhere near as kinky. Sometimes i wish I had hair like that coz its so versatile and just awesome in general, but not possible as I am Indian! Also you are very pretty and have a lovely smile :)

I tryed it took me all day and it didn't come out as neat as I would of like and my ends wouldnt stay twisted but I had kinky Marley hair but I'm gonna gonna try it again

Chocolate dont be discouraged! It took me all day the first few times and the type of hair is really important in keeping the ends together. The kadi natural hair is the only hair I have found so far that will coil at the ends and stay together on its own
