Looks great! We’re on our 3rd Ikea kitchen (move too much!) and very happy with the quality. On our first kitchen we started by purchasing mid-range, supposedly solid wood cabinets from HD, but when they were delivered, even still boxed, the fumes were intolerable and we had them come take them back. It was surprisingly bad. We’re very happy with the Ikea installation system (“Sektion”) as well.

I liked that you kept the same island counter top. My question is how does 1 figure out the correct extra width of the counter top to use for extra seating. Does the depth of the cabinets come into it. Thanks

Realistically you’re going to need to buy IKEA back pan ale and two side panels, also toe kick panels.
