DIY Laser Cymatics

2 жыл бұрынIn this video I show you a step-by-step process on how to build your own laser cymatics rig and then demonstrate the awesome phenomena that occurs when sound transforms a single point of light into incredible geometric forms. We then explore the concept I call “The Stillness Theorem”, where the laser cymatics of two frequencies being played displays a static (or, still) image if and only if the difference of the two frequencies divides each of the two (for example, 60Hz and 90Hz are both divisible by their difference, 30Hz).

Indeed! Though, his art uses the oscilloscope, it's basically the same concept with the Lissajous figures. Though, he takes Fourier transforms to a whole new level!
