Would love to use this oil on my daughter's hair, but the last time I checked, it had almond oil. Although she's not ingesting it, her allergist recommended we stay away from products that contain nuts; messaging it difficult to find oils that work well for her hair.

It’s about the same! Keep in mind that I usually apply my gels in the shower on soaking wet hair and this was applied on damp hair! So theres going to be more hold when applied on damp hair and when using more product! 💯💯 So I’d say it’s about the same! Chia and Flax are very much interchangeable! 🎉🎉❤

Girl you did that!!! And as an fyi, you don’t need to heat flaxseeds to extract the gel. You just need to leave it to sit overnight in water and it will release the gel. My first time trying to sprout them by letting them soak for a few hours, showed me that they will just turn into a jelly mess 😂

I love that you are true to your roots of using all natural products on your natural hair as it's truly best for our overall hair condition and our health. And you know these brands are too profit driven to invest in quality ingredients alone for these products so they will ruin a good natural base with some harmful (not safe) synthetics and sell these products as if they are actually good for the hair and health. Meanwhile naturals are out here wondering why their hair is chronically dry, frizzy, hard to detangle, breaking and their scalps are upset! Keep thriving Whitney!

Whitney some how when you do it on your page it's always inviting and looks good. The ratio and the Amount always look correct and on point. So to make my point... someone else can do the same thing. And not really know how to mix things properly. You can use the same ingredients as someone else. But if you don't know how to add the right portions in the right amount, it will never be the same. How do you guys get it not to flake? That had been my main issue with flax seed and xanthan gels. I hate that I cannot apply enough to clump without it flaking when dry...

@@krenee984 I haven’t had that issue but I only use it on wet/damp hair. Not sure if that helps but maybe give it a try.
