I think if you used index cards and did artwork on them then covered them in packaging tape it would work just fine! Very informative video though

This video is excellent, I turned old decks that I no longer use into a personal deck, first I wrote down from 1-78 my own names meanings (my favorite card is the little collage of “flaming hearts” my idea of the lovers wish I could show u guys) second painted one side, then pasted either pictures I’d drawn, stickers or printed pictures onto them and then I laminated them, it was a lot of work, took me weeks of nights pasting, cutting and sticking but I don’t use any other deck more!!

I think this is brilliant. I agree about tarot and oracle not being practical enough. That's why I was drawn to creating my own. But it's been a struggle finding the materials, images and messages for the cards. Can you make a video on 5-10 ways to find messages for creating your own oracle cards?

Hello beautiful. I want to say I as well have incorporated some kids playing cards in my tarot reading. They are like you say very helpful in getting a better idea of a situation in a different way.. You are also right, you 1st must start with index cards to get an idea of how it's going to work for you.. I have also used games tools from a game box. I found this unique game from Marshalls. My intuition keeps saying buy the game, and I was like why do I need the game how is it going to help me so my intuition kept nagging me to make a long story short. One of the games tools had cards that had 16 different emotional expressions and the name of the expression on these cards. So they had 8 happy expressions and 8 not happy expressions. That was the only piece of the game parts I needed.. 😂 I was kinda upset at 1st because I spent more than I wanted on the game set. But it was a blessing in disguise 😊. So this video confirms that, I'm on track towards building my own Oracle deck. this is really helpful guidance

I made my own twinflame love notes deck recently and I also use that technique (which i randomly thought) using a blank index card and write on it. The only addition I made is laminating them maybe 2 to 3x cutting them and corner cutting them... its more managable, still not easy to shuffle but its super easy for intuitive picking.

I had videos about making diy Tarot or oracle deck a few years ago and suggested index cards. I am a big fan of diy, low budget projects. This is an interesting video. Great job!

I wanted to make tarot cards, and I tried, but I struggled a lot, and it was really difficult to understand because I used minimalistic designs because my wrist hurts after drawing for too long. These sound a lot easier, and it sounds more fun! I think I want to make my own Oracle cards! However, playing cards still don't make much sense to me when I tried using them, and I can't go get artsy playing cards.
