Can you use these in making resin geode paintings or will they melt when you pour resin over them?

Hi, so what measurements would you suggest? Do I add the salt until the water boils? And do I need to sift it ?
@BrendasCreativeCove
@BrendasCreativeCove 2 жыл бұрын
I waited until the water was boiling and then added until clear! No need to sift :) To be honest I just threw a bunch in and was hoping for the best

Have found that the amount of epsom salt should be the same as the water ( 1/2 cup water= 1/2 cup epsom salt).

Can you coat them with resin to make them strong enough to use in jewelry making or crafts

@@thefraug3827😍awesome. That's what I thought when I saw the Epsom crystals. To create jewellery for my Jewellery store. I 'll put the crystal in liquid glass and let it dry out . I want to create a metal necklace with liquid glass and the crystals inside. Thanks. I hope it works😍👍

I used Epsom salt because it crystalizes, you can try but would recommend Seasalt/epsom salt etc!

My little sister really want them fast But u want it has good quality should i put *mine* in the window or the refrigator and my little sister ones in the window or refrigator?
@Yosafatalvin100

My goal for: Good quality crystal even long or short time to make. My little sister:a fast but bad or good its ok.
@BrendasCreativeCove
@BrendasCreativeCove 3 жыл бұрын
The sponge is not needed! The blue ones I made were partly made with the sponge and another cup with no sponge, and the fridge works fine too, speeds up the process :) you can try both, in the window and fridge! Just takes a couple of days before the window ones are dried up.

@@BrendasCreativeCove Epsom salt is actually edible, but I wouldn't advise eating it. Epsom salt acts as a laxative.
