Would it not be beneficial to paint the inside of the clay label, so as not to be able to see the raw side through the glass?

Do you two have a workshop series online that one can purchase to learn all the neat tricks etc?

What colour is the piano in the beginning of the vid?

This was helpful because I didn't realize the negative space around the decal shows as matte; I thought only the printed image would transfer leaving the space empty (and in this case the smooth jar). You would almost have to mattify the jar before you apply the transfer if you want a consistent jar texture. Am I understanding this correctly? Hopefully I explained what I meant!

Good explanation!! The negative space is less noticeable in the color transfers, but yes, it's matte. If you're going to make the jar matte anyway, then you can also seal the transfer which will help it hold up in the long term.❤

I bet the Unicorn Spit paint will work for your mold projects. Unicorn Spit is non-toxic, non-odorous and smells like jasmine.

What is the shelf life of the air dry clay?
@IronOrchidDesigns2 жыл бұрын
As long as it's sealed, it should last indefinitely. Once it's been opened, store it in a ziplock back with all the air squeezed out. Depending on how well you resealed it, it will last months, if not longer.

Yuck. What a waste of time and a waste of those expensive transfers.

I agree. The video just showed a haze all over the jar. I couldn’t see any flower detail at all. Maybe it just wasn’t a good video, but not something I would want to make by watching the video. Plus, that wasn’t a Mason jar. It had to be a recycled Mayo jar, or something, because there was no raised writing on the jar.
