Some notes for anybody who wants to make this instrument: 1) For long-playing it's better to use an adjustable steel clamp with a soft sealing to fix the membrane; 2) The tone is VERY sensitive to the distance from the end of the pipe to the membrane, so the pipe connection must be really tight, but with the possibility to move it precisely. bonus: me playing membrane bagpipe kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kMeAl8WIuqrSo58.html

I’ve modified your reed design for the foonki not sure where to contact you but. So I thought I’d comment on your foonki video. The modification I made ditches the t section for a straight section allows for a more wider range of instrument shapes. You may like it i made a foonki based off of this that’s a dragon foonki it’s on my ch if you want your vids are inspirational in that aspect and i thought I just had to modify your design. In one of your older videos you mentioned that your not sure how to put said membrane on a pipe without a t section well this may be the solution a working one at that If I could draw a digram using these and you can read it just let me know if not I may have to get all artsy with a pen and paper to draw out a blueprint for you.
