Usually they don't keep the colors at salons, not Manic Panic anyway, (some professional brands have brighter reds and such but nothing "crazy") but usually the salon has to order the colors you want if you want less natural ones and want them vibrant... OR some stylist will let you bring in your own crazy colors, they'll usually have you sign a waiver (in case it doesn't come out how you expected as they act slightly differently on different hair types) and they'll dye it for you however you wanted with the crazy colors. Most stylist at any salon will be able to answer your questions without you even having to buy anything, so talk around to a few different ones if you're unsure and want to get it professionally done. With the ombre colors being so popular in the past year, most stylist have a bunch of experience (regardless of where you'll go) doing it with "normal" colors, so they should have no issues doing it with colors and making it look good regardless of your budget. Take pictures in with you if you want to make sure they know what you want, how it fades into the other colors is a big thing about why taking pictures with you is important... some people like a bigger contrast while some people like it to just gently fade to the other color. As far as being worried about doing it, don't be worried. There are a ton of ways to get the color out of your hair that won't do damage/very minimal damage to it (for the love of god, don't bleach out the color!!). Plus, if you use a shampoo with sulfate in it (basically any shampoo that isn't a color protection shampoo) and wash your hair with warm water, it will fade out completely in around a month or so. (crushed vitamin c and shampoo mix setting in hair for an hour or two does WONDERS to strip colors out of your hair, I love love love it, plus no damage there). If you end up hating it, you can always dye over it with a demi-permanent color or go to a salon and have them remove the color with color remover (I highly suggest having a professional do that as a last means due to the harsh chemicals and the possibility of screwing it up on your own) or even tone it out of your hair with a dye on the opposite side of the color spectrum, kind of cancelling out the tones of the color you had. I went to cosmetology school, and have had a bunch of different colors/dye a lot of other people's hair, so I know from schooling and experience. Good luck!

A lot of people just don't have the confidence to do something so drastically different right out of the gate. Especially when they have never had anything like it and have no idea how to translate the information they received from videos/pictures into their own hair with it's own style and make it look great for them. Your videos are great and very informative, but some people just have to "see it to believe it" on their own hair first, and that's okay, because you give them the building blocks, the stepping stones, and point them in the right direction =]

My hair was down to my ankles and it's a natural ginger, I started with doing the tips purple and slowly worked my way up my hair length so that in case my hair did react badly it wouldn't b my whole length gone 🙂

Typically, the colors won't blend if you leave them in long enough. With permanent dye especially, most brands actually bond with your hair so they won't go anywhere. Just wait as long as the product you're using recommends before washing it out. If they do blend, which unfortunately does happen sometimes, it will actually help the colors look more natural (I mean, with colors like this they're clearly not but you get what I mean) and bring it all together a bit more.

Wash your hair with cold water only, as I said :) Before shampooing, put clear conditioner in your lenghts, to prevent it from fading too fast.
