Why would you do that? There is literally no benefit to welding them together, but there's plenty of disadvantages like warping, and compromising the bearings themselves. What a fu€|

Lol you took this video so personally 🤣 you’re correct on the heat warping but with tac welds like that, you’ll never reach a temp high enough to seize them, especially when you take time breaks in between tacs or swapping from one to another. Now, if he was using an arc welder, then yes, he’d be an idiot but since he is using proper tools to make a HOMEMADE project, he’s perfectly fine…you sir, are the TOOL for the poor logic critiques. If you don’t agree, go make your own how to DIY vids…I’m sure we would all love to see what a genius, like yourself, can come up with while ALWAYS using the correct tool; no ifs, ands or buts!

I know. I was like "if you're skilled enough to weld bearings and have them still be functional, you make enough as a welder to afford a real tool. Or at least a pipe to slide over the bearings for a friction fit.

I dont think the end use here qualifies as "under load" in the context of your warning. It not like they are spinning at anywhere near usual bearing speed. And not close under usual pressure.

This DIY is accectable for an idi.ots only.

No actually it's not, although personally I would use recycled bearings but this is a great way to save a good $$$ investment in a profesional one when you might not be able to justify that cost if it's something you don't use regularly and even if you did, this one is small enough to be portable to a degree and so what if he toasts a bearing or two they are not exp and even less exp of you get them used as many times bearings get replaced if one of the bearing balls gets a flattened head so normal use for the bearing is finished but they are still in excellent shape and would work perfectly here, and used ones you can get for free many times just check outs metal recycling place. As for the build, the key here is not to put to many spot welds and the small ones he does would not compromise the integrity of the bearing for this application as long as they are minimum amount of weeks needed and fast. This is honestly a fantastic way to recycle parts I do it all the time in my shop he'll I'm still using my grandfather's shop Smith all in one so please stop the using on people doing good diy projects like this.

@@user-dg4wv9qg8k он же не проваривал весь контур так слегонца прихватил. Перегрева не было деформации тоже. Можно было бы проигнорировать данную операции и оставить пачку прижатой болтами. Но так работает его феншуй. В нем нет недостатка
