A few weeks ago I made the Micro All-In-One Snail Aquarium ( • DIY Micro All-In-One S... ). That's a cool project, which was inspired by the container it was built in. The same can be said for this project. I took one look at a pencil organizer and all I could see was a paludarium...
What can I say?! My brain tends to see things a little differently! Anyway, this outlines the steps that I took to turn an acrylic organizer into an awesome micro all-in-one paludarium with two waterfalls. Let me know what you think in the comments!

These containers just keep giving me awesome ideas! How about you? Are you seeing builds (terrariums, aquariums, etc.) in everyday objects now? If so, what have you made? Let me know! Also, what do you think of this build? I think it's a fun little display that's perfect as a tabletop piece. Have a great weekend SerpaSquad!

You can find so many potential containers second hand at thrift stores. You just have to imagine what you can do and try it out. I love finding plants that are clearanced out and finding containers that just need a little bit of tweaking like this one.

Hahaha that was me a couple months back.. got to the point where I'd seen most, and felt burned out a bit lol.. but then when I noticed no new videos for more than a day or two I started to irrationally think "I hope Tanner is okay, hope he's not cutting back on vids!" Guess that's what happens when you're watching at least a few vids a day then suddenly nothing!

if you deal with something long enough things like the names of specific things and their uses becomes standard for you. Like a plumber can easily just know what kind of pipes, their angles and so forth needed for a project in most cases.

Your willingness to take us through the whole process, including the mistakes, is what makes these builds so interesting. I see it as a reminder that art isn't 100% inspiration - it's also a lot of work, and being humble enough to admit when you have to take a step back.

As I cannot garden outside much these days, I would love to try something like this but a browse through a local pet shop recently left me disheartened. Few supplies, few plants, everything so expensive. Obviously, I need more research, online shopping and looking outside the box like you do. This is such a soothing creation. Thanks for the information.

@@SerpaDesign could you tell us a good source to order plants through. Maybe someone would give you credit for sales by giving us a discount code to order by. It would benefit everyone. The seller benefits from orders. You benefit from credits they give you & we get a source with discount.

Yeah a good bit. I'd love if it was silent tbh, but I suppose it's representative of nature in a way. Things are never truly silent. Some nights when I walk around and look at everything I still don't believe it's real. I feel very blessed to be able to do what I do.

Not sure if you have been up into high altitude mountainous areas in summer, but I bet you'd see some crazy awesome inspiration. Everywhere I look up there looks like a terrarium. lots of different and unique miniature plants with crystal clear snowmelt running between them and some awesome granite chunks between them. Not to mention some awesome mushrooms and insects. It's the closest thing that I've seen in the wild to a terrarium.
