WARNING! Even though the product stated it was safe for rabbits & guinea pigs, many owners have told me in the comments section that they do not recommend feeding them grains or flour because it can cause bloating and digestive problems. Different animals tolerate different amounts of grains so PLEASE use your own discretion with your pets. Guinea pigs should also not be fed single grains or seeds because they pose a choking hazard (visit www.guinealynx.info/ for more guinea pig info).
There have been many requests for another DIY cooking and DIY ASMR video so I've decided to combine both for this one! I couldn't believe my eyes when I found DIY baking mixes for hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits at my local pet shop. It's by the German company "Bunny Nature", and I don't think it's available online but I've created a DIY version of the cookie mix as well based on the ingredients on the box!
DIY Miniature Cookies - Actual ingredients
- Spelt Wholegrain Flour
- Oat Bran
- Buckwheat Flour
- Dried, Edible Petals
- 1/2 cup Mineral Water
DIY Miniature Cookies - Easier Recipe*
- 1 Cup Plain or Wholegrain Flour
- 1 Cup Porridge Oats
- 1/2 Cup Treats
- 1/2 Cup Drinking Water (please use mineral water if the tap water is unsafe in your country)

Just like real cookies, it's supposed to be a special treat so don't feed more than one slice and remove any uneaten pieces quickly :). Pleast note that yoghurt is NOT SUITABLE for guinea pigs and rabbits because they have a vegan diet. You can substitute apple sauce for the frosting instead. I also had some questions about whether it's ok for rats, dogs, cats etc. I'm afraid I don't know enough about other species so please DOUBLE-CHECK each of the ingredients online to make sure it's suitable for your pet. You can simply google "Can rats eat yoghurt?" (replace the species and food) and make sure you read more than one result to get the best answer.

Gurl, same. Today is my hamsters birthday. I spent at keast two hours preparing hamster safe cake, hamster safe tarts and hamster safe peanut butter cookies. I was so proud of the way it turned out, except my hamster didnt seem to like it. She sniffed it and ran away :(

+SVIIVII Thank you!! That actually happened by total accident when I first started my channel because I didn't know enough about video editing to add music 😝. But many people said they enjoyed the silent videos so I gradually learned which tutorials are most suitable for ASMR (needlefelting, cooking) and started optimising those so they feel as relaxing as possible.

It's from the brand Bunny Nature here: bunny-nature.com/products.en#.neu15 It's a German company so it's sold in many pet stores in Austria but I'm not sure how easily available it is in other countries. If you can't find it, then you can use the ingredient list in the description box to make a DIY version.

If you have rats, you can't use poppy seeds. Poppy seeds have something in them that rats can't have, other then that's, I bet these will work!

+Sw_bridesaleena This is not an ASMR channel and anyone familiar with the normal format of my videos will know that it's always DIY/crafts with some ASMR effects. I never post long/repetitive ASMR designed for people to fall asleep to. These are engaging craft videos without the distraction of music or talking, which many viewers enjoy watching and do feel triggers. I'm sorry it doesn't match your definition of ASMR and I'm sure you feel much better about yourself after spending a Friday evening writing rude comments to total strangers on KZfaq.

+Cry Cry Haha thank you! It was surprising good, though probably because of the yoghurt on top. If eaten alone it's a bit dry and definitely not salty enough for humans tastes.
