C O N T E N T S R E C A P:
• Welcome to a new series of video tutorials! I'm going to show you how to make a miniature kitchen for dolls, using mostly wood and paper.
• In this video, we'll learn how to make a miniature marble countertop complete with a porcelain sink and a stainless steel faucet.
• For our miniature countertop, we're going to use wood, acrylic paint and gloss varnish to create a 100% DIY marble effect.
• I used plastic packaging to create the miniature sink; the miniature faucet is handmade with plastic, paper and wood.
• As usual, I'm making 1:6 furniture for playscale dioramas and dollhouses, ideal for Barbie, Monster High, Blythe and most fashion dolls.
• To adapt these miniature kitchen cabinets to a standard dollhouse scale (1:12), just halve all the measurements.

Awesome outcome. Even an under mount sink. Your free hand marbling is so much more real looking than mere marble paper👍🏻 Those bloopers…🤣….you know, I don’t think every day is necessarily a good crafting day. Some days the moon phase is just wrong!!!!😉🌚

This might be a dumb question, but what was the purpose of the wax paper? Was that just so you didn't get glue all over your hands while you were pressing down, or used under some weights or something until the glue dried? Love the marble. You did an amazing job on that, btw. You're so creative.

Oh that's not a dumb question, at all! And you're 100% right, that's what I used the wax paper for. Not so much for my hands (because, let's face, I'd manage to get glue on my hands even if I used three pairs of gloves 😅) but because I like to place a few heavy books on the wood panels while the glue dries, to keep them from bending 🤫😍 and thank you, you're really sweet 😶❤️❤️❤️

I can't use it without it being on everything and everywhere, no matter how lightly I try to put it on. haha Seriously, you are super creative.. I watch your videos and I'm like.. How did she even think to use that? I would never think of half the things I see you do. I love it!!

My first guess would be polymer clay! That's how I made my first kitchen faucet 🤫 (I think I even have a video here on the channel but I have to check) Ps. I'm going to have to write "crafting fairy" on my ID because it's just so cool 😂😍❤️

@@MsChyna1980 I couldn't make a template for this, since the shape depends on the packaging you're using for the sink and the size&shape of your cabinets 😊

How big are those sticks and where did you purchase them

Hi there! You mean the acrylic sticks? If so, they're 3mm (diameter) and I bought them in an art store (however I have seen them on Amazon as well) 😊
