I just lucked up on your channel and I love it I am 75 have cancer my husband is 82 and a stroke victim he’s really in worse shape than I am but I keep on pushing I stopped my chemo in February blah blah lol anyway your home is so beautiful

Looks good! I think that changing your door knobs to a gold or brass color would really pop against the black...plus it would pull in with the threshold color. Just a thought!

It looks great! I love all kinds of flowers, all colors. Sweet potato vines are cheap, but add so much beauty and volume to pots. I , too, have become very intrigued by white flowers after watching a few videos on planting moon gardens . Enjoy your cozy porch ! 😊😊

Great job! I don’t know if anyone has mentioned it or not but I have used gel stain in the past, and I let it dry completely then sprayed a coat of shellac over it to seal it before I did a second coat. That kept the second coat from pulling off the first one. You don’t have to worry about the shellac blocking the gel stain from sinking in because gel stain doesn’t sink in, it sits on the surface. With a fiberglass door, there’s nothing for it to sink into anyway. Your door turned out beautiful!

Hydrangeas are my favorites. Was wondering where the white pots are? They’d look great sitting next to the middle post. I’d also slightly angle the chairs towards the table. They look kind of awkward the way they are. One final thing, if you could find some red seat cushions, it would tie in with the flowers and red brick.

My front door is very similar (doesn’t have the glass window though) and I used a black oil based door paint and you can still see the wood grain texture. It also dried really quickly. I’m planning to use it on one of my back doors as well

Love your makeover do you all have an Ollie's near you like we do in North carolina.? They have some gorgouse chair cushions very reasonable for a pop of color and weather proof. I just did our deck and love them.

Just found you. Very nice job . I love the door color. Do you know if I can use Jel paint on inside walls of my home. I am having trouble with paint not covering my wood on my wall. I brought the best paint with primer and still a problem with coverage. Beautiful porch and decor.
