@@koicentralofficial Absolutely Matt, my moving bed for the puddle has 28 litres of K1+ in it, and I know my fish stock is smaller than yours, but its doing a great job so far… 🤞🏼👍🏼

Mate when I'm done my new pond is gonna look empty. And I don't think I'll have any money left for new fish 😬🤣 I'll have to go on a rescue mission 😎🤣🤣

You may laugh Matt, but even building my puddle this last year, I genuinely need to restrict how much more money I put towards the hobby for a while now. 🤷🏼‍♂️😂 Or I’d have bought a few more by now. That said, I have just made a purchase from another KoiTuber that I shall post a video about fairly soon…… 😊👍🏼

Looking spot on! Just thinking about that channel in your shed for the waste water. If that is still you plan is it worth getting a few of those clip together plastic shed base things (technical term!😂) that you fill with gravel. Would hold water longer and provide a bit of stability of you walk on it. Keep up the good work

Cheers bud, yeah that's still the plan. But it isn't there for waste water really, just for any spillages to run off to. It definitely wouldn't cope with the waste from the drum as its quite heavy clay soil and wouldnt soak it quick enough. I've still got a couple of holes to core drill for the waste 😫😅👍

I've had a closer look at the hose since and it seems well brittle. I'll change it out when I get chance 👍

Just catching up on some videos from Daytona Beach in Florida ☀️🇺🇸 Really coming along this mate and like I said in a previous video, I love that moving bed you have! I tried that airline on a project I was doing and it didn’t work very well. I swapped out for the disc shaped air stones and it worked way better. I just couldn’t seem to get the agitation with that perforated airline for some reason. Hope yours works though and it’s not a big deal if it doesn’t as there are plenty other ways around it. Hope you’re well mate 👍🏼

Thanks Alex you jammy sod 😅 bet your having a cracking time 👍 yeah hopefully it works out but as you say it's easy enough to swap for air stones. Just went with the air line as I thought it was the best bet as its quite a big unit. Will soon find out as not long to go now before I put some water through it. Have a good holiday mate 👍

Hi Matt your pond build is certainly getting there now do you think the wheels on the moving bed will hold the weight of the water when it’s full it might be a good idea to add some blocks underneath so that the weight is distributed across the bottom of the tank

Hi Derek, yeah I think it will be good mate, it's quite a sturdy unit to be honest. I certainly will keep an eye on it when I have the first run, but if I need to add some support it won't be an issue. I think I will be more concerned about my pipework 😬👍😎

Coming on nicely pal👍👍. Not sure if I'm right here has I don't have a moving bed but shouldn't the outflow pipe be higher up. Not going get much k1 in there and water level will be low. Looking the dangleys tho👍🐠🐠

Shit, I read your comment and had a proper heart sink moment then 😬 Thought I'd fcked up 😫No mate, it's a gravity system so the water level in the filter will always be at the ponds water level. If you look at burtons bio filter for example the inlets and outlets are at the bottom of the filter 👍

@Koi Central my drum runs 2cm below the level of the pond I know all drums are different but yours just looked very high 👍

Just checked online and it says water running height 180mm from the top of the filter so think I'm good 👍 I'll soon find out when I start putting water through it 😅
