In this sewing tutorial I show you exactly how I made this DIY Nascar style jacket. I show step by step how I created the pattern for this jacket and then how I sewed it all together and created DIY patches for the jacket. Amazing! This jacket design is crazy btw, the one I made has more of a letterman feel than a biker jacket but I want to incorporate some of these same elements in mine to make the design more cohesive! I appreciate you. You have discord or something similar?

Ahh I’m glad you like it!! ☺️that’s funny you say that because I’ve been wanting to make another similar jacket b it with more or a letterman jacket feel. I appreciate your comment! I don’t have a discord and anything like that but I do have an Instagram to communicate through ( if that’s what you mean not exactly sure what discord is used for lol)

This looks so good! What kind of fabric do you recommended for this kind of pattern?

Hi! Sorry for late response but thank you so much!! 😊 I really think faux leather would be such a good option for this style of jacket. I want to make one in faux leather soon. But for this jacket I wanted to use the fabric I already had so I used a combo of corduroy and cotton twill fabric. I think cotton twill with some interfacing pressed on could produce a nice jacket.
