DIY old Wooden Bench Makeover / Trash To Treasure / Rescued from DUMP
One of my favourite things to do is turn something from trash to treasure. Where I live I am able to go to the dump and rescue perfectly good items and upcycle them! In this video I am Upcycling a wooden bench rescued from the dump! It created an amazing bench that has a very rustic farmhouse feel. You can add any graphic you'd like, and paint any colour - make it your own!

ALLLL THE TIME I DO LOL so I just watched the video of you putting the pics from the inkjet printer (I didn't find link for inkjet,just for the laser,unless I overlooked) the pics from camper renovation & it made me think abt allll these "burlap looking" pillowcases I ordered to sublimate transfers I order to apply on & wondered if you could apply these inkjet photos onto a throw pillow..that would be cuuute & apply just as you did on wood blocks!!😲😲😲😲🤣🤣🤣😊 heck idk lol

The top coat I used I. This bench is a water based poly acrylic sealer for outdoors 🌿

I absolutely love the bench. You did a great job bringing it back to life. But........ Like several other upcyclers / DIYers on KZfaq, you add a LOT of printed quotes and words to the items you work on. In many cases, it's just not necessary and in fact, actually reduces the appeal of the object. This bench is one example of that. JMO, but I think it would have been much better without any words added to it. The bench age and design, plus that wonderful original color should be the focus.
