~Purse Body: (1) cut to 6" x 4 1/4" and score at 2 3/4" and 3 1/4"
~Gift Card Holders: (6) cut to 2 1/4" x 7 1/2" and score on the 7 1/2" side at 3. 1/2" and 7"
~Straps: (2) cut to 6" x 3/8" for longer straps cut to 8" x 3 /8"
~Closure: (1) cut 2 1/2" x 1/2"

I modified this a bit and put in teabags of various flavors instead of gift cards. The more teabags you put in the wider the bottom has to be!

My sister and I would make our own paper doll clothes. We'd make ourselves a cardboard template out of the cardboard that came in our daddy's shirts from the cleaners. Then we'd design their clothes. My sister was obsessed with a pregnant lady in our church. She'd make her doll maternity clothes just like the church lady. Kids today wouldn't even know where to begin with something like that! My family wasn't poor but we certainly didn't have an excess of anything. This was growing up in the 1960's. Dang I'm old!😁

This is such a cute little pocket purse! I decided to make a few this week and I found that it's easier to put your pockets in the envelop punch board at 1-3/4" to make the "finger hole". No guess work or extra steps. Thanks for sharing this and the backpack version! I love them!

I made a purse for the closure I took a piece of paper glued on the sides leaving the center unglued. That way I could slide the closure strap through the paper. By doing this I didn’t need a magnet.

Love these! So cute and such a great way to give gift cards! And by the way, you can still get Fashion Plates! When my daughter was younger, I loved trying to find older style toys like I had when I was little to give her, and I found a whole set of fashion plates for her and she loved them! I always enjoyed playing with them when I was little and I enjoyed playing with them with her, as an adult!

OMG Maymay This is the Ca-untest ever!!!! My Gosh the ways to use are insurmountable and it absolutely could be rated the gift that keeps on giving…….I LOVE IT!! I was a BIG paper Doll girl I mean not me personally 🤣😂. But my mom got the McCalls Magazine and it always had paper dolls and I’d fussy cut them out with my sizers (for Vinnie 🥳) and have fun and quite the collection I did have !! This was a super fun share and it was amazing and mesmerizing watching you in creative action!! Gosh YES I’ll be making this not for Christmas but thru the 2023 and have some cutie ideas mustering around in my Scraptabulous head and of course it does include using your stamps!! I was asking if basically you would attach the metal tip for me prior to mailing the top only - no glue. Sorry if I took up your valuable time with a poor joke. 😀.
