Hot (red) line at battery should be last. And Definitely Add a inline fuse at the battery so you don’t burn your car to the ground.

Cerwin Vega VPAS12ST 12” Power Active Spare Tire Subwoofer would be better fit for your application that way you can keep cargo room for transporting another set of tires and brake pads when you go to track. Add terminal O rings to power cable then inline fuse to battery cable along with ferrules so when tightening screw to fuse holder multi-strand power cable doesn’t fray.

Mine is going in the quarter panel of my SUV. Under front driver seat is factory alarm stuff, under front passenger is stuff for the rear heater, middle row doesn't have any space between the floor & the seat. It'll take way more work to put it under the seat than in the quarter panel. And I didn't want a traditional style box/sub setup because I'm trying to conserve as much cargo space as possible

There are companies that make stealth subs that fit rear quarter panel area depending on vehicle that would retain the factory look, some powered too.
