hey, love the video ! why is it OK to leave the pins on the pants when you're sewing the seams? will it not hit the needle or something sorry im a beginner

when you sew the patches on the base, do you have to put cardboard inside so it doesn’t go thru both sides

No, u shouldn’t need a piece of cardboard since the side seams are open
