This video explain step by step how to make pedals for driving simulator games like Euro Truk Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator , Assetto Corsa, Race Room, Dirt Rally, Dirt 4.
Template & 3D Print File : • DIY Pedals - Simulator... (look at description box)
Parts :
- PVC Sheet 5mm
- Long Nut m6 x 30mm
- Bolt m6
- Bolt & Nut m8
- 3D printed Base Bracket
- 3D printed Pedal Bracket
- pneumatic cabinet door lift - 6 inch (you need to leak the gas, make a hole in the body)
- Steel Coil Spring (wire= 1,4 mm , L= 12 cm , inner diameter= 15 mm)
- 3D Printed Spring Bracket
- Potentiometer 10K
- Acrylic Arm 3mm
- Bolt & Nut m3
- galvanized steel wire

Fantastic video! don't wear wool gloves when working with power tools though. It is better to not wear anything if that is all you have. The cotton will get wrapped up in the drill and take your finger with it. Glad you still have all your fingers.

Quick tip, if you're gonna drill all the brackets the exact same way, just stack and tape them all together, then drill :)

what is the pneumatic cabinet door lift's length? Because i can't find the same pneumatic cabinet door lift like that, so i have to find another one in my marketplace, but it only has 270mm, 210mm,... ( the length of the door lift)

It is not necesary an arduino, you only need where to connect +, signal and gnd of the throttle, brake, and clutch in the connector pins, for example for a thrustmaster t150 you will need a rj11. I can share with you the schem (sorry for my english)

it doesnt matter, it works only by a spring. pneumatics are dead, they are drilled

Don't worry about getting one that's too strong as you can always increase the distance from the turning point, which makes it easier to use.

Hi, nice build. I need only two info. How much is the lift long (if possible in millimeter) fully compressed and fully extended (end to end)? Cause some sites report the items measurement in extended way and some other in compressed. Thanks for help :D

You need arduino pro micro or leonardo. You can use joystick library code for this project.

Go for Linear and not Algorithm, they work diferent. As long it has the B10 on the potentiometer you're safe

I bought part on the indonesia marketplace. Pedal using PVC sheet, check onthe description box for parts. You can buy on the printer service, or use broken printer.. Or you can change with incremental encoder.
