If you've tried making my sock plush bunnies then you will be able to make this too! It's simply two sock plushies inside one another which creates an adorable sheep shape without the need for pattern cutting, pinning or other complicated steps. Making the arms and legs is the most time-consuming part so beginners can simply leave that out if they want. I used felt eyes in this video which is easier than sewing on beads. I also embroidered the edges with black thread to make them neater, but take care if you do the same as it's fiddly to keep the shape round.

I use black thread for most of this video just so it shows up on camera. But obviously, please use the same colour thread as your sock fabric when making your own. You can use any colour of the rainbow to make your own Amuse Wooly-inspired toys!

I believe I saw this video soon after its release 8 years ago. I was so inspired that I stayed up all night, on my bedroom floor following along. This was my first sewing project. I was maybe 14 or 15. I'm about to graduate university with an art minor and a passion for fiber arts. Krys Reyes You know there is an abbreviation dedicated to this kind of satisfaction? It's called ASMR and stands for Autonomous sensory meridian response (Yup, I wiki'd that: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autonomous_sensory_meridian_response) If you searcy YT for 'ASMR' you get a lot of very satisfying sound stuff :)

For everyone looking for an alternative for needle felt horns, here are the different ways that ive come up with: 1. if you can find jumbo pipe cleaners they might work (guess) 2. wrapping normal pipe cleaners in a thick fabric gives a cute fairytale look when they stick out of the head instead of lay flat. (youtube) 3. you can try taking fabric felt *maybe normal fabric might work* and stuffing it to a small point when you glue it on and then drawing the swirl on top. (instagram photo) 4. simply replace the horns with small tear drop shaped fabric facing downward for ears. (experience)5. THE BEST WAY TO MAKE THE HORNS is to simply lightly stuff a piece of fabric in the shape of the horn at pause 3:52 then roll up and stitch together as if it was needle felt.LAST RESORTS:6. you can also make the horns by piping silicone if you can find out how to work with that, as a last resort you can make the horns out of clay if your okay with just having it as a showpiece more or less a stuffed animal.

Air dry clay works on plushies! You could also make them from another sock - similarly to how the arms are made, only by changing the shape; you could make long cones and roll them up afterward (similarly to how it’s done in the video - only more plush parts, instead of wool!) OR even easier: just make them round with a dome-shaped top, and draw or sew the spiral onto each! Those are some super creative ideas, though! Way to make a fun project possible for more people!

I always make my nephews and nieces presents for Christmas, and this year I've been having a really hard time trying to decide what to make. I think you just solved my problem!! These are so stinking cute, and I love that you can personalize the faces a little too. Somehow you ended up on my recommended list. Well I finally subscribed. Watched like 4 videos and felt like why not. Love the music in them. It fits with what you are doing. And doesn't make me want to tear out my eardrums. ;) Figured I have left over materials lying around and your channels gave me ideas even though I may not have the kits or exact materials, I can reproduce them either way. Shannon Rose Fitzsimons Hi! Sorry to hear you're having problems finding the socks. It's hard because there isn't a single brand that makes them, I found these from a discount shop near my house. But you can also look for "microfiber socks" on Amazon, and they usually have good results: www.amazon.com/Adult-Super-Soft%C2%A0Feather%C2%A0Light-Comfy-Socks/dp/B00P8F9BUC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1429473659&sr=8-1&keywords=white+microfiber+socks It's slightly pricier but Amazon has a huge selection of colours so you can find socks in cute pastel shades as well

well i had colored old fluffy socks so I put them in a dishwasher with bleach...not the hair kind of bleach.....so then it became white.
