How come mine never work. I do the exact thing I see in these D.Y.I projector video and it never works. Any tips?

I you want more better scene then colour the inside of the box black and stick with another lens like it inside the projector. Also bring the mobile phone at the backside of the box. These points will make the scene crystal clear. I am also making a projector like that. I hope it will work.
