I have an idea... Can you use like a Heavy Canvas like a Painter's Canvas (cheaper) to do this ? I have used Painter's Cloth to make floor cloth and it takes paint really well.

hi! we do not recommend using plaster because the working time is very short. our recommendation is joint compound

hiii...its amazing work stunning , i'd like to ask if it's ok to use putty filler instead of joint compound, i used plaster of paris but it gets lumpy and harden after mixing with water and i kept adding water and now it doesnt dry hard

Hii .. your work is amazinggggh really wooow ❤ i noticed the chrome spray you used is different than the one your mentioned in the description, i couldn’t find the classic forever paint one but i found the rustoleum one , will it give the same color and effect as it is silver not chrome

thank you so much! silver and chrome is basically the same color. the mirror effect will give this finish. so the one that we mentioned, from rustoleum should work.

Thank you so much 😊 the rustoleum mirror effect spray from our link will give the same color and effect as in our video😊 silver and chrome are very similar and the important characteristic of this spray is the mirror effect

Why is the compound white after drying? And when you say you do a second layer - it really looks like there have been way more than 2 layers.

hello! it gets white due to its composition (as it comes from the store), but there are different joint compounds from different brands and they have various colors when they dry. yes, it’s only 2 layers, you can do it also in 3 layers if you wish. ✨
