My dad used to own a bowling center and he had his apartment above the lanes. The stairs to his apartment were made from terrazzo and those cabinets bring back so many memories!!

Carissa you did such a great job on the playroom!! I may have chosen that beautiful blue color for the sofa - I think it would have looked gorge! But I understand your reasoning for keeping the neutral color. I love your scandi style & your competence in doing everything from building furniture & cabinets to making over your fireplace!! You'll say "well, I've never done this before"....whatever it may be & BOOM!! You do it! And do it well! Good for you! Your family is lucky to have you ♥

I love that idea of little shelves for their animals and small toys! My 3 year old son has so many Matchbox cars and I think that would be a great way to put them up, but be able to take them down and play with.

It looks so good. Love the idea with cabinet doors. It reminds me of a dessert that my mom used to make, it is called "broken glass" it is made of white and colorful jello mixed in it, tastes so good. Your girls are so lucky to have you as a mom.

You really outdid yourself here. The room is gorgeous! The cabinets remind me of our nugget which we got last year thanks to you. I’m pretty sure you mentioned the nugget once and I hopped on it! Thank God bc now they are impossible to get. Anyway the color is called Rumpus and it looks close to the print you put on the cabinets. Congratulations!! It looks amazing!!!

This reminds me of my childhood. My mom totally made our room like this; we had a couch, our bunk beds, a coffee table and shelves... I think i will do the same thing when i have children 😍

I was considering these cabinets for our laundry but I didn’t think about the living room! I will be buying these!
