Materials and tools i used:
- Polymer clay (Fimo, Premo, Sculpey, Cernit, PVclay, etc)
- crochet hook
- oval cutter
- Cutter
- blade
- wood and metal beads
- Caoutchouc wire
- pliers
- rolling pin
- Oven
Items must be cooked to 110 ° C in the oven at home, following polymer clay manufacturer's instructions.

:-) is not a secret... I use different brand clay mixed because I have it at home... but it's better if you work with stronger clay! I always say that only expert people can work with very soft clay :-)

you can make everything with a rolling pin, but I always say that the only one tool that a polymer clay crafter must buy is a pasta machine. You can use it for make sheets but also for mix and for make clay softer

Any time I've tried to use a non-polymer clay bead as a base, the clay I added has always cracked. Is there a secret to using a wooden or plastic bead under polymer clay?

I had no problem with wooden bead. If you use a plastic one you must be sure that it can be baked at the same temperature of clay. Not all plastic can go to the oven.
